This work was inspired by the exhibition holded at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ljubljana, Slovenia. On the exhibition named “The Present and Presence”, there were many works themed the age of communism, include Malevich’s pictures and the Odessa scene of Battleship Potemkin. The themes of these works were not only for former-communistic country but also a warning to changing Japanese society on the problem of totalitarianism and a regulation on expression. On this work, I expressed a structure of the West and East countries, the value of art.
